On the 15th of November 39 years ago five visionaries decided to meet at Green Cabin to grab a tea and the rest is history.

The 39th Charter Day celebration was held at the OZO Colombo with the presence of our Past Presidents, Rotarians from our host club and our current and past members.

The celebratory evening was filled with reminiscing speeches and games.

The game was called ‘Going on memory lane’ from our archives we chose random pictures of projects and members had to guess the project name and the other games were find the hidden person and the famous Mid Town quiz.

Something that’s very special to our club is that we maintain archives from over 20 years. A short movie was compiled from the archives and was showcased at the event.

General members enjoyed the nostalgic evening and loved meeting the past leader of the club which we all  found very inspiring.

The evening ended off with a positive note and with an overwhelming request for a bigger celebration for the club’s 40th Charter Day.
