Remembering the lives and souls that were lost,
One year ago on this day – at what cost?
What did we achieve but only sadness reigned,
All was lost to the darkness and nothing gained,

Beautiful souls and families were torn apart,
We still do remember and cherish them within our heart,
All we need is peace and calm to live together,
Help each other and not be a bother to one another,

We shall pray for everything that we lost to this terror,
We hope that this will not cause anymore horror,
For lives are but fragile, priceless and rare,
Let us love each other and show that we care!
