“IR BOLAH 2019” aka Interact-Rotaract Bowling Tournament is an open bowling tournament Initiative by the Rotaract Club of Colombo Mid Town along Rotaract Club of Colombo West and the Interact Club of St. Bridget’s Convent. “IR BOLAH 2019” is also the oldest and the largest bowling tournament coupled up with an incredible experience with DJ music, gifts, surprises and much more.

“IR BOLAH 2019” took place for the 5th year, which was held on the 19th of January 2019, at the Excel World Bowling Lounge. The event was successful in bringing together over 200 Interactors, Rotaractors, Rotarians, Corporates and Friends of Rotaract with the participation of over 28 teams. The project aimed the avenue of club service and was able to strengthen the relationships built among the clubs who organized and participated at the event as well as to facilitate interaction amongst members of Interact, Rotaract, Rotary and Friends of Rotaract by bringing them together to do what they love.

The three top scoring teams managed to secure the first, second and third places and the winners were awarded with attractive cash prizes and trophies. All the participants regardless of winning or losing, enjoyed every moment of the tournament as it was a project filled with wonderful memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Bowling is a sport which is quite popular among individuals from early teens to middle ages but less practiced in Sri Lanka. Through “IR BOLAH”, we provide a notably rare opportunity for members of RID 3220 to compete against each other, thereby ensuring the enthusiastic interaction and fellowship between the participants and supporters.
